When you use our system, we may collect:

- Site details – Information about irrigation sites, including controller and station data. Some stations may be linked to a home address or a common area within a community.
- Technician information – Contact details for technicians who are invited to inspect, repair, or replace equipment.
- Usage data – Basic logs of how you use the system (such as login times and actions) to improve reliability and security.
We do not collect payment card information directly through our platform.
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to:
- Provide you with access to the system and its features.
- Help you manage sites, controllers, stations, and technician assignments.
- Send important updates related to your account or system performance.
- Improve the reliability, security, and user experience of our platform.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Sharing of Information
We only share information in limited cases:
- With authorised technicians or account owners so they can perform their activities.
- With service providers that help us run the platform (like hosting and security services).
- If required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. While no system can be 100% secure, we continuously monitor and improve our protections.
Account Deletion
Technicians using the Wetchex mobile app can delete their account from Profile → Delete account. When you delete your account:
- Your account is deactivated immediately and you will no longer be able to sign in.
- You cannot reactivate your account yourself. Contact your account owner or Wetchex support if you need access restored.
- We do not permanently erase all records when you delete your account. Maintenance reports, inspection data, and work history linked to your technician profile may be retained for audit, compliance, and operational purposes.
Account owners and administrators can request account discontinuation by contacting us at support@wetchex.ai.
Your Choices
- You can update or correct your account details anytime through the system.
- Technicians can delete their account in the mobile app from the Profile screen.
- You can opt out of non-essential communications (if any) (like newsletters or product updates).
Children's Privacy
Our system is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make major changes, we'll notify you by email or within the system before they take effect.
